“ Came here for lunch with a friend... atmosphere lovely, food was good and prepared perfectly, service great. Lot of menu options. Will return. ”
“ Borsch was so good, like home taste. Beefstroganoff without mushrooms what I didn't like. ”
“ Very cozy and great service! zhulien was sooooooo good and is filling despite being an appetizer! Cherry blini was good too! ”
“ Everything was very tasty, we ate borscht - I'm so glad there is a vegetarian option. the fur coat was also very tasty and I liked the cherry pancakes. and the kvass was real! the service was very good - I recommend it! ”
“ Good food, something different from what we usually have. Though it's kind of on pricier side. Service is a little slow though because there's only 1 staff serving. ”
“ Wow! The restaurant is beautiful, and the food extremely delicious. Loved the experience! Great service will be a return customer. ”
“ I haven't been here for a while but I was craving borscht. Sacramento is a city devoid of good soup restaurants. I love a variety of soups year round and many restaurants don't offer any soup. Noroc offers a few soups from Eastern Europe. I have found their vegetarian Borscht to be of the highest quality and one that is infused with great flavor. Likewise, I fell in love with the cured pork & raw veggie dish. The richness of the cured pork is negated by the raw onion, raw garlic, dill pickles, and horseradish. The course bread was a perfect platter for all of that fat goodness! The restaurant had several patrons when I visited on a Friday evening around 5:30 PM. There was a large party and several other groupings of 2 - 4 people. I was a solo diner. It seems that was only one server for the entire restaurant and she was also the bar tender. Because of that, I think the service was a bit slow; however, I recognize that the food is prepared to order and that there may have been a backlog in the kitchen because of that. I enjoyed the ambience - especially the reproduction of 2 dining areas set up like a kitchen might be in a humble Eastern European village. I have never been dissatisfied with the quality and taste of the food at Noroc and will always be willing to return. ”
“ Ate on a weekend night. No one really there but ethnic Romanians I suspect. Food was unique and delicious for my untrained tastebuds. I liked the food more than I had expected. Although kinda pricey for portion size it was pretty filling. Service was good there was even a singer entertaining which I felt sort of bad for given no one was really in the restaurant. It's definitely in a location I wouldn't have thought a place like this would be Only gripe was extra bread was offered but that's additional $2 which we weren't aware of. Otherwise a nice place to try some unique eats if you're looking for something different ”
“ Highly recommend this place. Borsch and meat (like kebab) absolutely perfect 10/10. Pancake with the caviar is 5/10, cold pancake and too much oil. Very good personal, all of the waiters are professionals. Nice homey atmosphere, once even got to see a live performance by a girl, it was very cool! ”
